Jacquelyn J Bombardier, - President of Never Give up Ever & Marathon team Vt Children's Coordinator
Jacquelyn has a wonderful family of six. Everyone contributes to the team in some way. "If a member of my family were hospitalized I would want to be with them as much as possible."
Jacquelyn has worked in health care for more than twenty five years. Currently she works in the inpatient pediatric unit at FAHC. She studied
at UVM and is currently working toward her BSN.
Jacquelyn recognized the need for a fund for families with children with life threatening and chronic illnesses. She started raising funds and awareness by creating a marathon team and working together with co -workers,family and friends to raise as much awareness and money as possible to help families during their journey with their child at the hospital.
"No one is exempt this could happen to anyone anytime." Never Give up Ever will help families as much as possible to reduce their stress during an already very difficult time in their lives.
John Collins, Esq., Secretary and Director
John obtained a BA in Economics from Rutgers University in 1980 and his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1983. John is an attorney and partner in Collins, McMahon & Harris, PLLC, a law firm in Burlington, Vermont which was founded in 1988. John has volunteered for and supported many non-profit causes including those related to children’s issues, poverty, workforce development for the unemployed and underemployed, health care, cancer and the environment. John served as chair of the Board of Directors of the Vermont Affiliate of the American Heart Association for several years and served on its national Board of Directors. He also served as a member of and chaired numerous committees and task forces for the Heart Association and other non-profits.
Jennifer C. Eddy, BA, CCLS Vice President and Treasurer
Jennifer obtained a BA in Early Childhood Education from the University of Vermont in 2004 and her certification as a Child Life Specialist in 2006. She currently works as a Child Life Specialist in an outpatient clinic within Fletcher Allen Health Care. Jennifer has worked with children for a number of years in numerous capacities; child care, teaching, monthly support groups. She has also spent time volunteering and working for numerous organizations which serve the homeless, unemployed and underemployed, and the sick. Each of these organizations have helped to prepare Jennifer for her current role as vice president and treasurer of Never Give Up Ever, Inc. An interest in human services began for Jennifer at an early age as she helped care for her young siblings. Jennifer’s passion for helping children and families is something she values and hopes to continue for years to come.
